This past month feels like it flew by. Between work and blogging every weekday, it's amazing that I managed to stay afloat without indulging in more glasses of wine throughout the week. To end September I thought I'd write a round up post about all the things I loved this month, including TV shows and books. See, I'm a well-rounded adult! I'm also creature of habit so when I find something I love I tend to stick with it obsessively and this months favourites have been no different.

1) Too Faced Lipstick in 'Spice Spice Baby'
This is a product I bought about a year ago and only recently really fell in love wit it. I think when I bought it it wasn't a great shade for my pale skin tone, but ever since getting back from my trip to Cuba it matches me perfectly. It's the prettiest pinky nude with a hint of brown as an undertone. I also can't get over how luxurious the gold metal packaging looks and feels.
2) Benefit Cosmetics 'Porefessional Face Primer'
Porefessional is another product that I bought a while ago but only recently got into. I know a lot of people don't like the feel of silicon based products on their skin, but I can't get over the smoothness of it. I haven't had any acne problems while using it (which is a plus) and it always manages to smooth away the pores around my nose and forehead. If you're looking for something that'll blur the skin without being too heavy then I'd recommend it.
3) L'Occitane Hand Cream
I got a sample of this product a few months ago and, what do you know, I hadn't really loved it until now. I'm usually so picky about my hand creams, especially the texture and how long it takes to dry, so I was surprised I liked this one so much considering its consistency. I've always been loyal to drug store brands so it's good to know that the high end ones are making their products worth the money. The only thing I don't love about the one I have is the scent, so when I buy a new one I'll opt for something a bit softer.
4) Origins 'Out Of Trouble' Clay Mask
This mask has been a life saver these past few months. It has honestly taken care of every single breakout I've had with only a bit of spot treatment as soon as I feel a pimple coming on. You can put the mask on your entire face, but it is a bit intense and tends to burn around the mouth and nose area. If you're like me and have random pimples here and there, then this will work wonders in keeping them at bay. I'm hoping to also pick up their charcoal mask in the upcoming months as I've heard great things about it.
Now on to some more lifestyle specific favourites. It's no secret that I love binging TV shows and this has been the newest one I'm obsessed with. Since I've been working and blogging a lot, I haven't had as much time watch Netflix, but any time I do go on this is the show I click on instantly. It's such a great watch, comparable to Breaking Bad, but different enough that it creates its own unique universe and aesthetic. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes character driven dramas.
6) Becoming By Laura Jane Williams
I'll be honest, I've only just started reading this book but have been enjoying every minute of it. I've been wanting to read it for a while now, having learned Laura's journey and how similar her struggles with weight and work were to mine. It follows her transition in life from being in a long term relationship with her high school boyfriend to being dumped by him so he could marry her friend. She really doesn't hold anything back as she tells her story and I love that about it!
7) Yoga With Adriene
As you may have learned from reading some of my past posts, I've been really getting into yoga lately. It's more of a way for me to relax and work on some strength training rather than an intense, about-to-puke-my-lunch-out kind of workout, but it's still been enjoyable. Whenever I make the time to do it, I always check out Adriene's Youtube channel because she has so many different types of yoga, perfect for every mindset. I usually go for the anxiety ones and anything catered to people who work on their feet.
