Like any typical girl, I am excited for fall; not because of the hot beverages and infinity scarves (well maybe a little of that too) but because of the effortless experimentation I can do with my style. October will be that perfect temperature just after the blazing heat of summer and before the cold winds of winter where I can wear dresses, skirts, pants etc without feeling uncomfortable. It leaves enough room for accessories that won’t be a burden, but an asset to a look.
What I’m most looking forward to is rekindling my obsession with thick oversized sweaters and tunics atop a pair of leggings. I don’t think there can be anything cozier than that without suffering heat stroke as the weather remains [ambivalent]. Not to mention the option of wearing closed or open-toed shoes—finally! I had been coveting a sleek pair of boyfriend oxfords for a while that will look both casual and profession to wear out and at work.

I have also recently been getting back into brown accent pieces as opposed to the harsh black overtaking my summer style. Something about brown is warming for the fall and works well with pretty much anything you are planning to wear. It is just a matter of finding the right pieces and the right shade.
